Christopher Head was a first class passenger who joined the Titanic at Southampton. He lost his life in the disaster. The body of Christopher Head, if recovered, was not identified.

Although his body was not recovered Christopher Head is remembered by a memorial sundial located in Cadogan Square Gardens in central London.

The gardens in Cadogan Place, located on Sloane Street, north of Sloane Square, were created at the end of the eighteenth century by Henry Holland. The gardens are for the use of residents Cadogan Estate and not the general public.

There are large, mature trees extending along the boundaries of the gardens, with lawns are ornamental planting in between. The gardens have a tennis court and children's playground and has a number of pieces of sculpture on display.

The Christopher Head memorial is in the form of a stone pedestal base with a bronze sundial. The pedestal stands atop a single step surrounded by planted pots, ornamental borders with box shrubs and mature yew hedging.

A rectangular bronze plaque is affixed to the step beneath the sundial and has the following inscription:

To the memory of Christoper Head, For some years Hon. Secretary of these gardens, who perished on the Titanic April 15th. 1912.
